Corfu Taverna - Southern Pines

Truly authentic Mediterranean food surrounded by the warm atmosphere provided by ethnic Greeks, this was a great experience. From the mural of Corfu on the back wall to the flaming appetizers and large portion of foods, this small but charming restaurant wins number one in my book! Definitely going back and would recommend the Grouper in the lemon caper sauce and the Roasted Lamb Leg any day of the week!

Corfu Taverna was an extrememly pleasant dining experience in a cozy building with a mural of Corfu on the back wall. As with typical true ethnic foods, the chefs of Corfu were the family who were there to greet you and take care of you. They were very friendly and the food recommended was true Greek cuisine containing excellent flavor. The two boys and one's wife were so friendly it added to the atmosphere of the whole experience. Would definitely recommend the sautted grouper in a caper sauce and the chicken lemon soup. Delectable!
