Wish You Were Here - Southend-on-Sea

Great place. delicious food and great location, but the standout for me was this place is incredibly well managed. it's clean how clean can be. I saw a waitress that cleaned every corner and cnirches in a high chair, sweeping the floor and cleaning every surface. will definitely return and will tell everyone that this is the place to go for sampi and chips in Southend-on-Sea.

The best chips I have had in donkey years... brown and crispy. Not soggy or undercooked chips that you normally get from such places. The fish was delicious. Well worth a visit from the other 11 fish and chip bars by the pier. They also do great ice-creams too!

Lovely beach-side restaurant, open for eat-in or takeaway. Food was wonderful, and was reasonably priced. There are great view across the Thames to Kent and the Isle of Sheppy. Located in a quieter area of Southend, making it a great place to stop and think, and unwind too. Will definitely go back again.

This place is stunning—absolutely gorgeous decor and very clean. The owners are friendly, and the staff who served my mother and me were wonderful. We had the fish and chips, and it was fresh and delicious. The restroom facilities were exceptionally clean as well. Overall, it's a lovely spot that I would highly recommend. When I return, I can't imagine eating anywhere else but here.

This was the cleanest place I visited during my week in Britain. Excellent job!
