The spoons are what they say on the dose, pubs I never went into a spoon and hoped that I would be served withchelin star restaurant. the last post is a local affordable pub that tries to do it is best in very difficult times. the personal here can be quite hit and miss with some who are very friendly and helpful while others are quite rude and get a strop on when they ask them to delete their table. they have a great selection of behave and ales too cheap trips and I have yet to see a review that complains that their prices are cheaper than all the other pubs. you eat is in order, yes, it can be heated in a microwave and is not as good as gordon ramsay. but they get a drink and a teller grub for between £5.50 and £10. that is extraordinary. Although it is a chain and the owner may not have tasted, it is a place I can afford to eat on a tight budget. they are now doing a vegan nugget wrap that is beautiful and comes with chips or salat, with a pint and is under £7, behind the throat. the pub chain has a vegan menu, it puts all the calories on the menu for drinks and food, it has a highly valued children's menu regarding nutrition, the many other famous restaurants, a large selection of beer and spirituosen (free mischer), was one of the first service via an app offer service. it's okay and I'll continue using the spoon as it serves my purpose.
The food lacks flavor and has a texture that seems like it was just microwaved.
The Spoon Pubs are exactly what they claim to be - pubs. I never expect to find Michelin star food when I walk into a Spoon, and The Last Post is no exception. This local pub tries its best, especially in challenging times. The staff can be hit or miss, with some being friendly and helpful while others can be rude, especially when asked to clean a table. They have a good variety of beers and ales at reasonable prices, with many customers appreciating their affordability. The food is decent, albeit likely microwaved and not up to Gordon Ramsay's standards. However, getting a meal and a drink for between £5.50 and £10 is a great deal. They now offer a Quorn vegan nugget wrap for under £7, which is a tasty option. The chain has a vegan menu, discloses calorie information, offers a kids' menu that is rated highly for nutrition, and has a good selection of drinks with free mixers. They were also one of the first to provide service through an app. While it may not be perfect, The Last Post serves its purpose for those on a budget. I will continue to dine at The Spoon when needed.
Southend may not be fully embracing veganism yet as it was difficult to find a restaurant with options. However, we managed to find a place where we could get a plate of hot food at a reasonable price. Although they were running low on choices, there were still some available. The prices were very affordable.
