Mr Ping - Southend-on-Sea

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I placed an order for over £30 and was told it would be ready for collection in 30-40 minutes. However, after only 7 minutes, I received a call from a rude employee demanding to know where I was, as my order had been sitting there waiting. Upon bringing the order home, I found that the satay chicken had no sauce, the chips were undercooked, and the chicken balls were soggy from sweating in the bag. The mini crispy pancakes also had wet batter. When I called to complain, I was told to bring the food back to have it cooked longer, but I refused and requested a refund instead. After discovering that the satay chicken was raw and pink inside, I returned the entire order without receiving an apology. It was clear that the food had been rushed and was not cooked properly, which is concerning for safety reasons. I will not be returning to this restaurant again, as this was not the first time I had a bad experience there.

Went to mr pings for my sister’s birthday wasn’t disappointed.you order from a menu and they bring the food out fresh food was very good and service was good there was 11 of us and the waitresses and waiter didn’t stop all night can’t fault it well done mr ping

We went to Mr Ping based on the fact that we could order a range of options, and it was vegan friendly. We were really impressed especially with the starters (shredded vegan chicken, vegan chicken satay and won tons).

This restaurant in Southend is top-notch. The food was incredibly delicious, the staff were delightful, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I was very impressed and will definitely be coming back.

Excellent food and service, went there on a Monday and was surprised how busy it was ,obviously a good sign .I can highly recommend the buffet menu as it has a large selection of starters and mains, and for only a pound extra you can add crispy duck with pancakes.
