The staff was friendly and welcoming, but after traveling for hours, we were disappointed with the food. We had previously enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant and promised to return, but we will not dine there again unless Johnny is the one cooking.
The food was excellent and the service was great. The curry goat was delicious, along with the rest of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Thank you!
Visited on my way home. I love my jerk chicken and have eaten in many venues. As you will see, I am no stranger to trip advisor reviews! I had a “large” portion with nice rice and peas and basically most of an o massively overcooked breast of chicken, one wonders what a small portion would be. Staff are pleasant enough, lots of choices of things on sale but after the chicken dish I won’t be returning sadly despite jerk chicken being one of my favourite foods
I can’t believe this place is still ‘cooking’ Caribbean food. Had the misfortune to go here a few years’ back where they had the audacity to charge for a portion of curry goat bones! Any West Indian person knows YOU DO NOT DO THIS! It’s an insult and disrespectful. We always give ample portions and are hospitable. It’s part of our culture to make sure people are well fed. Something they quite clearly know nothing about. Another thing West Indians are high on is HYGIENE. They have a ‘one star’ hygiene rating which says it all. Please Do not go here if you want authentic Caribbean food there are other quality West Indian restaurants locally. I’m Jamaican descent and can guarantee if you know you’re food or want to try our food this is NOT the place to go!
