Sake Asian Fusion - Southbury

Tried a couple of rolls and the food was simply just ok. The temp on the sushi was off. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

My wife and I frequently ate here for over a decade before retiring and moving out-of-state. Now on our twice a year visits to family we ALWAYS stop here for lunch or dinner consuming two or three sushi rolls. Food is fresh, delicious and wonderful presentation. Hot sake is always fresh and tasty. Can't go wrong eating at Asian Fusion.

I went to this restaurant after finding another one too crowded. On a Saturday night, we were the only customers, which should have been a warning sign. The staff was friendly, but the food was just average. I’m quite particular about my sushi; I prefer it served cold, but mine was at room temperature. It wasn't terrible, but there are definitely many better options for sushi elsewhere. I can’t comment on their hot dishes, so I’d recommend choosing one of those if you decide to go.

The only restaurant I'm aware of that is unapologetic about making mistakes with your order. There's a stark contrast between their Thai Curry Beef and the standard Beef and Broccoli. While I don't mean to take anything away from Sakae Fusion in Southbury, CT, I can only comment on the wrong orders and overpriced food.
