Przekaż informację zwrotnąI recently dined at the new restaurant in Canton, CT, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was excellent, and the interior featured a charming rustic style. The bar was amazing, and the entire dining experience was delightful. I strongly recommend checking it out. Our server, Roberta, was outstanding; she had a wonderful sense of humor and was incredibly friendly.
Although we truly enjoyed the food and the ambiance, this experience left our group feeling disappointed and undervalued by the end of the evening. It seemed like our requests were met with annoyance, and when it came time to settle the bill, the server was unwilling to split it and didn’t check on our needs throughout the evening. Overall, the customer service fell short of our expectations and felt unwelcoming, leaving us hesitant about returning in the future.
A short while later, a nearby table opened up, so we asked to relocate. My wife approached the same hostess we had spoken to before, but she essentially ignored her and walked away. We then spoke to a manager or owner, who said he would look into it. After waiting some more, I suggested we move quickly before they seated someone else at the table behind us. Just as we started to do so, the manager/owner returned and rudely told us we should have waited for him. Perhaps we should have, but his rudeness was unwarranted, especially when I tried to explain that our need to move was for medical reasons. On the bright side, our waiter was excellent, and we genuinely enjoyed our meal. However, the owner never checked in on us during our meal, while another owner attended to a different table that was also complaining about the sun. After we switched tables, three other groups were seated at tables facing the sun, and all of them requested to move. Two couples opted to sit with their backs to the sun, while another squeezed into a corner. In conclusion, the behavior and rudeness of that particular owner were completely unacceptable.
This was my first time there with two guests and was extremely pleased with the food, service, and value. Noise level was a bit high but we were seated where we could converse without yelling. Will definitely come back soon.
Worst chicken parm. Marinara sauce tasted like jarred supermarket version and chicken was tough and processed tasting. Acoustics and music extremely loud. Service mediocre.
