Main Street Deli - Southbury

Before we went to the Kettle Town State Park, we got gas and lunch to eat in the park. 3 different sandwiches a hot and 2 cold and they were loaded and large. The homemade salads were delicious.

It has packed a lot in the small branch and not easy to move around if only 2 customers are also there - the kind of place I would never go back to, but the staff is so good no matter who works, they have come back. They often have to wait, but his because of the customers who do not know what they do, never because of the staff (many lottery business here and these people seem to always bind the wait on each register). You have a second, more modern shop, on Main St, also very friendly, but it has no Deli counter. I usually go there unless I get a quick sandwich that is as good as anywhere in town, and cheaper.

Always clean, decent gas prices, I hear the Deli is ingenious, polite and friendly staff, as my People's Debit card never works in the reader.

Breakfast sandwiches made to order good meat and fresh roll with real eggs. Also a good selection of coffees. Oh, how I miss this place since I moved to New York. Thanks guys for breakfast.

Very convenient. The owner and staff are friendly and the sandwiches are a great value. A very good sandwich for the price. This is exactly what I expect from a convenient store/gas station/deli.
