The Mitre - Southampton

The mitre is in first line a sport pub, a classic, old style big pub converted into a sport pub. good, loud atmosphere, is busy when the football is.

Eating and drinks were good, but I waited for an hour to eat because the only cook decided to go a long break in the middle of the program.

Came recently with great party. the booking of the table and the preorder was easy and the service level on the day was fantastic. fast, polite and efficient!

Great round pub. very decent price for drinks and eating! eating was much better than expected in view of the price. the atmosphere can be met a bit and miss, depending on whether there is a big sporting event (sometimes the locals can get a bit to sing).

Had breakfast, that was well cooked all for seven pounds, not included drink! amazing worth!
