Persian Paradise - Southampton

Even though the restaurant may seem unassuming, the food is fantastic. We have visited a few times and have always left satisfied. Easily the top Persian restaurant in Southampton.

We have just ordered a meal , I would normally cook my self from scratch but due to sad family circumstances we decided to order in dinner tonight. You would think that lamb with chick peas would be a nice dish, 3 chunks of lamb a spoonful of chickpeas in what was nothing more than a tomato soup flavoured with chilli and a few chips floating sauce! This all went straight in the bin and why I felt so strongly in writing this review

I went to that restaurant last week, after queuing 20 minutes I entered the restaurant with my friends and placed the order. We spent about an hour waiting for our order. Then when we asked about the order she said that she lost the order and that we have to choose between leaving or placing the another order and waiting for 1 hour more. She didn’t apologise or feel sorry for her rude and terrible attitude. When I asked her to feel sorry for what she did, she said I don’t have to, you can leave. She was disgusting and extremely rude, after wasting almost 2 hours we left without eating.

I went to this restaurant with a group of work friends after a recommendation from a colleague. It is a small restaurant, so booking in advance is recommended, but it is definitely worth it. The staff are diligent and kind. The food is amazing, with large portion sizes. I will definitely come back here and highly recommend it!

Fabulous Persian food. Lovely service and atmosphere Highly recommended Does not serve alcohol, but the Persian black tea was delicious
