Mike's Fish Chips - Southampton

I stopped by this restaurant in Southampton before my cruise and it was fantastic. I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff and many locals. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

I found the prices to be excellent and the portions of fish were quite generous! I tried both the cod and haddock, but I personally preferred the haddock for its tenderness and flavor, in my opinion. You definitely have to sample the cod roe—it's a fantastic combination! However, I did deduct a star for the fried pineapple, which was just one whole piece that was overpriced, and the fries were too soggy for my taste. But ultimately, the incredible fish and roe made the experience worthwhile!

The fish and chips were absolutely delicious! They were cooked fresh while we waited, and they came out hot and super crispy. The only downside was the windy weather.

This is, without a doubt, the best fish and chip shop in Southampton! The staff are friendly locals, and I often spend my lunch breaks here while I catch up on things.

Wow! The haddock and chips were incredible, and the service was lightning-fast. This is likely the best we've ever had in England!
