Bayleaf Kitchen - Southampton

One of my favorite restaurants to venture to when I am in the areaGreat bartenders, great food, and terrific service.

I'm a Greene native, but I don't get back often enoughIt had been many years since I had visited the Silo so I had no idea what to expect.

I have visited this restaurant several times and it was great as always, but the experience was unfortunately marred by a large group of men at the next table who were loud and shouting at each other all evening. This was not the fault of the restaurant, just individuals who lacked proper manners.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Bayleaf Kitchen. Popadoms were crisp and plentiful. Main courses of chicken jalfrezi and monkfish calcota were excellent, tasty and not at all oily, and all the side dishes (aubergine, lentils, chilli naan, pilau rice) were lovely.

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I will definitely return.
