Blue Sage Vegetarian Grille

Excellent eating. huge portions. had the adobo ziegenkäse nachos appetizer and had the verde dragon fried rice I think that is what it was called). our dinners were worth every penny and the service was fantastic.

Well I have been to Blue Sage before and had a good meal. The menu is simple but varied enough so anyone can get something they like. I ordered the Double Smoked Grilled Cheese with butternut soup. The dish comes served with a salad as well which is where the problems started. I had started to eat the salad and taken a few bites when I turned over a piece of chard to find a large dead grasshopper which curiously also had the vinaigrette applied to it. Me and my fiance politely told the server about my issue. I was pretty grossed out so I could not finish my grilled cheese as it was on the same plate as the grasshopper. The server/host offered to give us a discount. I then asked for the check and the discount applied was 5$. 5$ off an 18 dollar entre. I was so grossed out I just wanted to leave and did not want to press the issue. Me and my fiance will unfortunately not be coming back to Blue SagePic related in the center is the insect.

What can I say!!! Blue Sage has a nice menu. I want to try everything!!! Nate my server was awesome!! He made sure I was good the whole time. Tonight I had the Nachos and the tacos made mainly with sweet potatoes. I was too stuffed to get dessert. I will definitely save room next time.

Plz becareful when you are there. Food poisoning is no joke. I ate there on the weekend I've been sick four days now . You all been warned
