Amazing quality of food and really tasty delicious stuff
Yeah it's nice, great food, good service, exactly what you expect, nothing more
The staff at this restaurant is extremely helpful, especially with gluten-free options. We tried the pakora, which was okay, but the Gobi 65, paneer tikka masala, and bhindi masala were all really good. We also enjoyed the chilli garlic naan, desserts, and chai. Overall, a satisfying meal.
Jassi at the counter was very rude, said laddo is for 7 per kg and I want to sell by kg not by pieces. Laddoo were 255 grams, I said how much? she said £2. I said would you print weight on receipt? she said no, I said but isn't 255/1000 x 7 1.785? She became extremely rude, snatched back laddoos, as if she don't want to sell it now. Just because she can't do maths and also deliberately don't want to use the automatic machine which does maths for them, and wants to round off the price to nearest highest integer, in this case 12% increase in price, without letting the layman customer know, without explaining them how they arrived at the price, and having audacity to say that I don't want to print details on receipt meaning openly, willingly and knowingly doing illegal business. It is not about the price difference here, but black money generated, this case 12% more some times it may be 18% more. Imagine if they earn £10,000 in certain period of time, they have £1,800 out if customer's pocket more than the published price and not printing details on receipt, since this is a recurring issue, it will multiply as the time passes by, and they are knowingly shamelessly committing crime in broad daylight. I am going to report this to law enforcement agencies, custome ombudsman and the council, so that they can conduct a surprise visit next time in civil dress and catch her red handed breaking law of the land. She literally snatched back the partially sold product when she feared that she is caught. Amazingly brave!
