But yesterday, my whole perspective changed when I got REAL chicken instead of what Qorn 'Chick'n ' should have been. I am vegan for 2 1/2 years has been a vegetarian for about 2 years before and feel disgusting as yesterday was the first time in YEAREN I tasted chicken and it physically made me feel sick. I was suspicious after the first bite when I had all the Qorn there and that's what is usually used. The smell, the texture taste was a chicken smugget. I asked my mother 'not vegan' to taste it to make sure that I 't crazy her confirms it taste exactly like chicken and that was it for me because from all the years vegan my mother has tried many of the mock meat I like to promote and she always says that nope does not taste like meat at all. I called the restaurant to make a request and they answered WEISS 'T RECEIVE ANY ORDERS FOR FRESH CHICKEN TODAY I was in Shock it made me so angry that a place called 'VeganOut' has meat on the grounds. I pushed what I received was chicken and the whole answer I got was the above fact that they chicken on the premises, it could have been a mix, but they didn't even want to admit it. The lady on the phone basically called me crazy when she said it was definitely the Qorn package that she used and blocked from the phone. I'm not convinced at all because I always have the same food, it wasn't. It even came in different packaging normally comes in a white/brown box but got a blue box this time. This restaurant is clearly based on meat, but it sells 's vegan options than another unit, which in this case should be explained on its Deliveroo profile etc. I ordered the next day again to make sure that I don't look like the crazy vegan lady and how you see a clear difference in meat/mock meat. I would have been happy if the lady said she was sad, and it was a mix as if I didn't know what I mean as if I was crazy. Not all of you! Updated by previous rating on 2022 12 27
This place really recommend tasty take and not too expensive.
I love this place. It is takeaway only. The food is always amazing, I’ve had the chow mien, spring rolls and gyozas. I’ve honestly had this about 6 times since moving to the area in January. I was finding it hard to find a vegan Chinese and this hits the spot for me.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food never disappoints, with my personal favorites being the chow mien, spring rolls, and gyozas. Since moving to the area in January, I've dined here six times already. Being vegan, it was a challenge finding a Chinese restaurant that catered to my dietary preferences, but this place is perfect for me.
I have ordered from this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed their food. However, my recent experience was completely different. I ordered the Qorn 'Chick 'n ' but received real chicken instead. As a vegan for 2 1/2 years, this was extremely disappointing and made me feel physically sick. I reached out to the restaurant to inquire about the mix-up, but they denied using fresh chicken that day. This was shocking and frustrating, as the taste, smell, and texture clearly indicated it was real chicken. The restaurant seemed to have meat on the premises, which was concerning for a place called 'VeganOut '. When I called to address the issue, the response was dismissive and the lady on the phone made me feel like I was crazy. I ordered from them again the next day to confirm the difference between meat and mock meat, and there was a clear distinction. I would have appreciated an apology and acknowledgment of the mistake, rather than being made to feel like I was wrong. This experience was disappointing and I expected better from a restaurant that claims to offer vegan options.
