The Victoria Gate - South West England

I visited this pub a few weeks ago while visiting a friend in Taunton, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I didn't think pubs like this still existed. The friendly greeting from strangers, affordable drinks, loud jukebox, pool table, and lively atmosphere made for a great pub experience. This is exactly what a pub should be like. I plan on returning from Bristol to spend another afternoon here. Well done!

I have been frequenting The Vic for two years now and I must say it is the friendliest venue in town. I recently tried their roast dinner take away and I can confidently say it is the best roast I have had in many years.

Popped in on the off chance, had just finished abit of shopping in Taunton and we thought as we havent been in before we'd have a look before lockdown... Happy to say very pleasantly surprised, have a cracking lunch and the staff were really friendly, hopefully we will get to go back this side of Christmas

Amazing pub with a great atmosphere, friendly staff! Came in for a roast dinner this afternoon and it was amazing. Would definitely recommended.
