The Smithy Cafe - South Tyneside

I had a wonderful breakfast with friendly, cheerful staff. Regarding Daniel Moyse's review, I want to point out that the two steps make it quite challenging for wheelchair access. I believe his comments are quite unfair because I know that the staff and management at Smithy's would go out of their way to help accommodate individuals with disabilities.

I’m from London, and after having a terrible breakfast at another place, I must say I was extremely impressed by both the breakfast and the service here. The staff were wonderful. I would recommend this place to everyone, and the prices are incredibly affordable compared to what I’m used to paying. I’d definitely come back just for breakfast—10/10!

What a fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant located beneath the South Shields metro! The service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again!
