Indigo - South Shields

I recently visited Indigo for the first time after a friend's recommendation, and we had an amazing dining experience! The special menu offered large portion sizes, which was a pleasant surprise. As for the customer service, it was one of the best I've encountered in a long time. The staff was incredibly kind and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great experience. My partner, who grew up on Sea Road, said it was the best curry he's had in years. I loved seeing the manager take the time to visit each table to check in and ensure everyone was enjoying their meal. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10 and highly recommend it!

Many restaurants would struggle to serve such a large group all at once, maintaining a high standard and ensuring customer satisfaction, but not The Indigo! Everything was simply 'spot on!' The customer service was just right—helpful without being intrusive. The staff was attentive, and they provided lollipops for the youngest guests. There's plenty of competition on Ocean Road, and we've tried most of the Indian restaurants, but The Indigo is the only one we always return to. A big thank you to Mr. Choudhury and all the staff for another wonderful evening!

I visited Indigo last night and had a fantastic meal. I found myself torn between two curries, so they kindly offered me a small portion of each to try. The staff were extremely friendly and took the time to ensure that all customers were satisfied with their meals.

Always an absolute pleasure to call in and enjoy an amazing meal together with suberb hospitality. Shields is unbeatable when it comes to indian food, with Indigo top of the many. Cheers!

Love the food in Indigo. The staff are always friendly and never pushy. The menu is great and the service is always quick love it . It's our favourite curry place in South Shields and we com over from Sunderland
