Clifton Coffee Shop - South Shields

What a beautiful place! I had a delightful afternoon tea in the library room, complete with sandwiches, cakes, and scones. The staff were lovely and extremely attentive. It was definitely worth the price and felt like a bargain.

We had a lovely afternoon in the newly decorated library area, which was fantastic. The food was delicious and abundant, and we enjoyed plenty of tea and orange squash. We laughed and chatted, and the staff was very welcoming and kind. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're looking for something tasty!

The dining experience was excellent, with reasonable prices and friendly, helpful staff. They effortlessly accommodated our group of 14 without any issues. The restaurant is also dementia-friendly and is great with children. I highly recommend this family-run café.

We had the afternoon in the library room and it was great! the food was nice and the staff was great! would definitely recommend it!

Lovely food and excellent service. Also provide gluten free sandwiches, cakes and puddings. All Day breakfast is very nicely done never had a bad meal yet. Just wish it was a bit bigger!!
