A very neat old-time diner with fabulous Elvis memorabilia.
A great place. felt like a old time dinner experience. Elvis ate there. there's Elvis memorabilia everywhere i mean like alot..lol. The food was very good.
Drove here to eat. Place was closed but hours said it should be open. Disappointing
This review is bit weighted because on the morning I went with my family, they only had one older women (presumably the owner running the whole dining room, which is tough for anyone. The fair here is traditional diner fair (ironically I did not find any waffles on the menu? , and it was done rather well and at a fair price point. My family all had pancakes and backm and eggs, while I opted for the fried mush and gravy, which was pretty good and plenty filling. The decor (and basically the diners identity is based on Elvis stopping by in 1956, which was mentioned on the coffee cups. The decor is a shrine to the King, and it's a fun little time capsule, so don't expect any modernizations. It is cash only, but there is an ATM on site. Also, the sign for the restaurant is just a picture of Elvis' head (showing my earlier shrine comment , so it's best to follow a GPS when driving there.Overall, nothing blew me away with my visit, and it was tough to keep my 2 year old from making ruckus during the long wait due to staffing (though everyone working definitely tried their best . But for a small price in an area with higher prices, and for a bit of yesteryear kitschy fun, this place works out just fine.
