Food is okay but is so limited in option. We bought a groupon deal for 4 people but they did not honor the deal and charged us extra. Overall I would spend the extra money at KOU for a much better experience overall.
Just as you might expect, korean food in Utah of all places is not going to be a good idea. Although my experience wasn 't terrible, it would be what I would call a very home cooked restaurant. It isn 't bad but isn 't professional quality. It 's the type of food my mom would cook when she was feeling kinda lazy. Yes I am Korean so I would know.
I love all flavors of their sauce !!It’s goos together with pork belly :)Very yummy, and real asian taste
I have eaten at several Korean restaurants and would rate this one as mediocre. We bought the all you can eat Korean barbecue and found a Groupon for it. When we were at the restaurant there was a menu with the all you can eat barbecue and on the back several other traditional items that are not included, so the all you can eat seemed deceiving. I had my favorite Bulgogi but it was just OK. There were not as many sides as usually come at a Korean restaurant. They didn’t have the traditional bean paste, they only had one that was hot. This restaurant seemed more American Korean to me. Not one Korean or Asian person in there which should have been a sign. We were traveling and thought we would try it since it had good reviews, but we were disappointed. Our server was super nice though.
Place: As someone else wrote the ceiling was dirty, other than that it was okay i’d have prefer to have individual ventilation for the grills on each table. I was able to smell what everyone else was making.Service: was fine, the girl waitress was very polite and nice.Food: the hot and ready food (octopus and hot chicken) were really good. The frozen meat was “ok” their variation of pork belly tasted all the same. I ask for all of them but since it’s frozen and seasoned/marinated at the moment the meat doesn’t really get the flavor. The brisket has no flavor at all I think they should offer sauces like in other restaurants. The Hawaiian steak was really good. I’d go just to get that.Price almost 30usd per person in dinner time, personally I don’t think it’s worth it.
