I appreciate being able to see my meal being cooked, but I observed some concerning practices at this restaurant. The cloth used to wipe down around the pans was in a terrible state, visibly dirty and brown. I even saw a cook use the same cloth to wipe around the top of a pan. Additionally, a staff member making naan bread walked into the adjacent kitchen and spat directly into the bin in front of me. These actions made me uncomfortable and I will not be returning. I'd rather just open a jar of Patak's at home.
Excellent value and delicious Indian food take-away. Great value for money, big choice of meals all good.
Just had a Tuesday evening takeaway from Walmerbridge. OMG. Food absolutely amazing. We had chicken chat, Peshwari Murgh chicken tikka and naan bread, onion rice and veg curry sauce. Only took 20 minutes to cook then a very short wait when we arrived to collect as they wanted to prepare the naan freshly. Less than £25 and it fed 3 adults with enough left over for my lunch tomorrow. Don’t normally have takeaways this early in the week, usually a Friday or Saturday treat but think I might make this a regular thing. Thanks Walmerbridge.
Their extensive menu offers a wide array of delicious options, and the complimentary extras they provide make for a great deal.
