Beale Street Barbeque - South Portland

Stopped in for some BBQ for dinner since we will be eating so much fish on our vacation in Bar Harbor, MaineOverall a pretty decent restaurant.

Excellent- the beef brisket is one of the best I've had anywhere.

The ribs were great The cornbread was great I upgraded my side to mac & cheese, but I thought it was pretty average.

Fast food and great service. Would come back for people. $14.00 for cut brisket and a bread and pommes were extra. The meat was not dry and full of a wonderful seasoned sauce. Fries were made to perfection and seasoned well. Unfortunately, you cannot order by phone at this time, but you can use the Internet to make an order with a third party to take care of your needs.

I love this place absolutely. The food is always delicious and the Calamari was perfectly kicked! The mood is wonderful. Blues and jazz play in the background and it is such a beautiful atmosphere. The vibes are right.
