Amazing food! homemade, but so much better: the bratkartoffeln are the best I had, the burger and chips are also fantastic, they have special chips that look like messles, makes them crispy and tasty, its beautiful atmosphere, personal are really friendly, it is our new place.

Lovely views from our table in the beer garden. Hadn't booked but just popped in after a walk on Bodmin moor. Met by waiter who showed us to a free table and took our drinks order. When the drinks were bought to our table we ordered some food. Very small menu but food was great. Had one more drink each then asked for the bill. Very good value for money and fab service.

I explained that my friends and I had traveled quite a distance and had anticipated a limited menu being available. The manager quickly and sincerely apologized for the misunderstanding and assured us that we could choose between burgers or a homemade chili con carne, although there might be a slight delay in opening the kitchen. The service turned out to be excellent, and the food was delicious. We were all very satisfied with what turned out to be a wonderful experience, albeit a bit damp. It's not often that we find ourselves in that area, but I can guarantee we will return in the future. This place continues to improve with each visit. One often-overlooked detail is the cleanliness of the restrooms. At The Frog and Bucket, they are immaculate, and I’ve taken pictures to prove it. Overall, this is a fantastic place. - Michael

During our travels back home, we had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable, all set in a lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly cheerful and friendly, which was a refreshing change from what we’re used to at home. The server had such a vibrant personality that it made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this place!
