Veggie Del Sol - South Padre Island

I loved the menu options. So much fun and unique food to choose. I'm a pretty quick picker usually, but even I was stuck between 3-4 articles. I ended up starting with the Hawaiian sandwich and nachos. The sandwich had amazing taste. Only enough heat to sweet ratio and lots of substance in between. The nachos were great, but could use some kind of vegan sour cream or maybe more cheese. We finished with the cheese cake, which was not at all like a cheese cake and at best decent. The counter service was friendly and welcoming. Food took something, but they brought a snack for us, although we ordered, take what was upstairs and beyond and we appreciate it.

Had the fish tacos, nachos and buffalo cauliflower. Everything was amazing. A charming jewel in the old downtown of Brownsville.

Beans and rice are awesome. Philly cheese steak is so tasty. Portion sizes are massive.

Nice to have a vegan/vegetarian option in SPI. Burgers, bowls, tacos... Definite must!

Purely vegan menu with vegetarian options. Great service. Very friendly staff and quick serving. Big portions. Tried the Philly cheese steak and wings. Both were excellent.
