A lovely old pub on the crest of the Chiltern Hills with absolutely stunning views; what a pity the food and service isn't better.

They enjoy a hot chocolate in the beer garden. beautiful view outside and a welcome atmosphere inside. stall was friendly. highly recommended.

Menu a little limited and the veg on one dish were over cooked. One desert not good, salted caramel. Service and ambience however excellent.

Delicious lunch. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! As others have remarked not that easy to find. Hint: ignore the sat nav and stay on the main road/lane.

Very much enjoyed our lunch. However rather upset that although I had booked on line, the staff had no record of that. Good job we were early so did get a table...
