Chef King - South Oxfordshire

Have been using Chef King for years, but last nights food was very poor quality, cash only and on arrival home it turned out they’d provided a chicken dish for one of our family who is a pescatarian. A painful telephone call eventually resulted in a reluctant agreement to provide a credit (no replacement/refund offered) against our next order, but it’s unlikely we’ll risk using them again.

Had a take-away this evening which went down very well. Great food for a reasonable price. Good social distancing on collection. Thank you.

Have had a number of meals from here. All have been good, some have been better than that. Reasonably quick and also well-priced. Great local.

Haven’t visited here for a couple of years and things have really improved. Grabbed an impromptu takeaway of Crispy Duck, Chicken in black bean sauce with green pepper and Chicken Satay to start. Chicken was good quality, tender and tasty and Duck was lovely (and plentiful). Egg fried rice was nice as were the Prawn Crackers. Only slight blemish was the boiled rice stuck together a bit but a small point on an otherwise excellent takeaway Staff polite and friendly. We won’t leave it this long until our next visit!
