Diss Tandoori - South Norfolk

We had a great take-away tonight, too lazy to cook so we picked up a curry from Diss Tandoori. A quick phone call and the order was taken by a really friendly chap. I ordered the Naga Mirchi with chicken and a chilli naan, the...missus ordered a lamb Karachi special with keema rice. What a fantastic meal, my naga was spicy and full of flavour, the best curry I have had in ages, the karachi was superb too, not too spicy, but full of spice. I mopped up my curry with the chilli naan and it was delicious. The keema rice went so well with both curries, but perhaps a plain rice or pilau would have been better. great value, off when you collect, for our dinner. Thank-you Diss Tandoori, great place to get a take-away, our next visit will be a sit down meal, make sure you give it a go.

We ordered takeout last night and were unsure of what to get. I was suggested a Karachi dish that was excellent, a true taste of India. The food is amazing and definitely the best in Diss. There is a wide variety of dishes available, which is wonderful to see. The staff are always ready to suggest something, especially from the selection of tandoori specials. Give it a try and experience it for yourself!

Last night, three of us enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. We received excellent service from the moment we walked in until the time we left. The owner even suggested a few dishes we had never tried before, and they were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable.

While visiting my parents in Diss, we decided to dine at the local curry house. The food was very authentic, made with proper ingredients. I highly recommend trying the Aam Malai, a sweet Peshwari dish made with Asian mango for added flavor and sweetness. The Karahi Special was also a treat, although a bit too spicy for my taste - but that's just because I'm not a fan of chili! The manager was very kind and attentive, and we had a lovely conversation as well. Overall, a great dining experience!

For several years now, my wife and I have used this restaurant when staying in nearby Wickam Skeith on our summer holiday. The food has been consistantly tasty, and rich with the expert use spices and herbs. Sam (the proprietor) and his staff being very...friendly courteous and helpfull. There are'nt many food establishments that provide for family pets but, in tonights glorious pack up, popadoms were included for our woofers. Top marks Sam and The Diss Tandoori.
