Here, they call egg rolls made with shrimp spring rolls. What some places call spring rolls, are called vegetable rolls here. Once I figured that out, I've enjoyed my takeouts from here.
Not bad at all! Plus they are super friendly. Had the sweet and sour chicken dinner, there wonton soup and a small side of the beef Lo mien. Enough to feed 2-4 people!
I had their almond chicken recently and the gravy was yellow, lumpy and tasted bitter and burnt. Almost like it had been scraped off the sides of the pan after sitting around all day.My almond chicken was also not the typical fillets, rather the top layer was fillets and the bottom was the chicken they use for sweet and sour and was soggy and tasted old. This really tells me they cut corners and compromise on freshness. They just wanted to get rid of food they already cooked.I have consistently had issues with the food not being fresh here.
Liked the Won ton soup but did not like the shrimp dish nor the eggs roll. I would probably not go back. Spent A LOT OF MONEY!!!
