The Townhead Cafe - South Lanarkshire

We ordered a portion of chips for 3.50 and were completely disgusted. Each of us only had a couple of chips, but they tasted strange and stale. Despite our limited consumption, our lips and mouths were left greasy.

Omg fish to die for WOW this is a place to come back to if your after proper tasting fish and chips, 2 fish fillets too in batter was divine, a pleasure to google a chippy and find this place very accommodating, thank you

Could you please update your online opening hours to accurately reflect your actual opening times? I called at 12:44 and was informed that the restaurant will open at 1pm, despite the advertised hours being 12pm to 9pm (10pm). This has happened multiple times and is becoming a regular occurrence. Thank you.

The service was terrible and the food was overpriced and not much better. I spent nearly 30 pounds and they refused to sell or give me a plastic bag because it was a card transaction. This restaurant used to be good under the previous ownership, but it has gone downhill.

Worst chips I've ever tasted. All stuck together and swimming in grease. Binned the lot! Won't be back.
