Spice Of Life - South Lanarkshire

Yesterday, I took my kids to Spice of Life for dinner. We ordered the mixed grill box and waited for over 30 minutes. When I asked how much longer it would be, I was told another 20 minutes. The man apologized for the wait, but the lady cooking in the kitchen was shouting and seemed upset. I decided to ask for a refund and went to eat elsewhere.

If you are looking to contract COVID-19, then this is the perfect place for you. There are no safety measures in place, not even the delivery drivers follow the rules.

I ordered a takeaway and it arrived quickly, which was a positive. There was also a generous portion size. However, the food was not great - it was bland and the naan bread was burnt. I would not be eager to return to this restaurant.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and good sized portions. We had chicken chaat, chicken pakora and veg pakora starters and the veg pakora was particularly good. We had a mixture of curries all delicious as was the fluffy naan breads. Good value too.

Chicken tikka masala and mushroom rice it never disappoints was ready for me walking in on the app and it was a great meal
