Season's - South Lanarkshire

My main criticism of this restaurant centers around the negative experiences I have had. The food quality is lacking and we have been charged extra on several occasions. It seems possible that there was no chef present during our recent visits.

Went there because stay in holiday inn. My friend ordered a rib eye steak, but it was a little bit smelly. Also, the seats were not comfortable.

I have been staying at the Holiday Inn hotel for business all week and decided to try the restaurant. After reading the menu, I was excited for a satisfying meal. The staff was professional and charming. However, I was extremely disappointed by the small portion sizes. The crab rarebit starter was tasty but very small. The duo of pork main was delicious but surprisingly small as well. While the food was tasty and well-presented, I expect to leave a restaurant feeling full and satisfied. This experience left me very disappointed.

The Holiday Inn East Kilbride, located in a remote area, led us to dine at the hotel to avoid driving and enjoy a bottle of wine together. Our starters included a burger and a mixed grill. The burger was tasty, but the accompanying fries were disappointing. The mixed grill was overcooked beyond my requested rare temperature. The mayonnaise for the fries was served in individual sachets, reminiscent of fast food. For dessert, we ordered a sticky toffee pudding sundae and a plum and cherry strudel. The sticky toffee pudding lacked stickiness and was not served as a sundae as expected. The filling of the strudel was decent, but the pastry was too chewy. The service was mixed - the waitress was good, but the young apprentice had room for improvement, leaving debris on the table, forgetting fresh napkins with new cutlery, and not allowing us enough time to respond to their half-hearted inquiry about our satisfaction. The TV at the bar initially showed football but switched to an awkward program, leaving us uncomfortable during our meal. Overall, I would recommend skipping the restaurant at this hotel and opting for a taxi to East Kilbride Village nearby instead.

I had breakfast and dinner here. On both occasions service was pretty lax, no real management of the staff and quite slow. On the plus side, the food at dinner was excellent perfectly cooked veg and salmon. Breakfast food was decent enough, standard HI fare.
