Time and time again we travel into Lanark from Biggar to enjoy the food from the Jholpai. Why? The food is just so tasty. Everything I could want from a curry. Fresh ingredients you can identify and every dish does not look or taste the...same. We will be back again, again and again

Coming from Birmingham and eating in endless Balti/Curry houses and Desi Pubs it's always hard when you're away from home. Well this place is the standout from all of those. The menu is great and varied and actually makes it difficult to choose what you...want to eat. We had a variety of starters and mains and the consistent thing was alm the meat was superbly tender, beautiful cooked and the flavours were deep. Nothing was to hot to the pallette but you could sense the flavours coming through slowly as you ate your meal. If you are ever in this area and like good Indian food, this place is an absolute must.
