Alfies Chippy - South Lanarkshire

First time in today. Fish and chips and absolute must, excellent quality. Staff friendly and helpful. Curry sauce not what I imagined; very thin and runny and mushy peas not so mushy. That said though, will definitely be back for the fish and chips.

Amazing pizza and staff very friendly only thing is they need to get card payment in but other than that this is best for miles

Really disappointed tonight , got a special fish supper fish wash really dry and hard chips greasy, put off instantly will not be ordering again . Lost a good customer unfortunately!

Since moving house we have tried Alfies chip shop and another chip shop just up a bit on low waters road, wouldn't rate the latter. Alfies by far been the best. We have ate from here a handful of times now and each time the food has been really good and great value for money. The macaroni is a firm favourite, pizza crunch said to be lovely and the fish supper was nice fresh too. I would say if you don't like a lot of salt maybe salt yourself I got way too much on a single hamburger before but since then I just ask for nothing on and it's lovely. Glad we tried this place would def recommend it to others.

I really enjoyed the special fish supper and the made-to-order pizzas are just as I requested. The staff are lovely and always polite. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
