Yewdale - South Lakeland

After a long day of walking, we wanted to grab a bite to eat before leaving. We had our dog with us, so it can be tricky to find a pet-friendly place. However, we were pleasantly surprised with a warm welcome and even a meat treat for our furry friend. We were told to sit wherever we felt comfortable and ordered drinks, roast beef, and fish and chips. The food was well cooked and the portion sizes were generous for the price. Definitely worth a try!

We decided to stop by for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and they even welcomed our dog, Darcy. I ordered the lamb and my wife had the pork, both served with hot vegetables, gravy, and a large Yorkshire pudding. Overall, we thought it was great value. Well done to the staff at the restaurant!

Lovely food well accommodated in a cosy setting, also had Sunday dinner which was nice. Staff are really welcoming looking after all our needs.

We popped into this dog friendly pub for lunch, mid week. The bar/waitress staff were very friendly and welcoming and clearly dog lovers which was nice to see. The decor and layout is quite plush and it’s a pleasant environment to dine in. Cheese and onion sandwiches were first class and the sparkling mineral water was refreshing as it was S.Pellegrino.
