Friendly and helping staff, we ordered 8 different dishes and a couple of starters an everything arrived hot and on time. I really recommend the housemade burgers! Definetly coming back soon!!

Excellent food, iffy service. We were extremely impressed with the food which was well above the standard we expected when we walked in. Diabolo Burger was tasty, nicely blackened on the outside but not overcooked. Fish and Chips were fantastic, crispy batter, perfect chips and tartar sauce. The Dirty Cow beer (larger) is also highly recommended. Service was average. Not particularly friendly or professional but the food made up for it.

I don't typically write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this bar. The food was truly amazing and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere and decorations were beautiful, and the service was excellent. I visited twice during my stay in the Lake District.
