Sheila's Cottage - South Lakeland

A wonderfully simplistic design that lets the food talk. specials board has a suppe, burger and quiche. we had a brokkoli and specksuppe, which with a lot of broth and vegetarian shader for one that has a great variety. then we had a wild boar for the net and an apfelburger that was delicious with perfectly cooked chips. we also had the trout that was so good the table next to us ordered it too! the personal was excellent, it was very enjoyed to be there.

This place is very busy and is a hidden place. we were greeted with our little dog at the door and sat immediately. promptly provided with menus, a bowl of water and a dog biscuit. we ordered suppe and the rarebit that was immediately bought us to **** hot. we noticed that another table had a part of klobigen chips and added to our order as soon as they looked out, and tasted delicious. sheila’s cottage would definitely recommend for its fast service, attentive staff and tasty eating.

Beautiful small fund in ambleside. in the inner has beautiful decoration and the staff are friendly. the eating was nice with good portions also (although a little overpriced) the chips were amazing crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside!

We were seated immediately and looked after for our entire meal by the lovely staff. The food was unforgettable and some of the best I've had in Lake District Highly recommend the salmon!

I would highly recommend Sheila’s Cottage. We had tea and scones which were delicious and freshly made. We went for an evening meal. The food was excellent. You could tell it was freshly cooked, lovely and hot and beautifully presented. The staff were polite and friendly and very professional in their service. The nicest meal we have had out for a very long time
