Posh Sardine - South Lakeland

Today for lunch on my sister's birthday, nice eating and personal. the suppe and the toasties were delicious. would be recommending

What can they say about this little gem in the beautiful city arnside. great welcome, so friendly staff and some of the most beautiful cakes for afternoon tea. the proportions were generous to say the least. the sorts were bigger than...can normally expect. the quality of baking was perfect. will be back!

Our Yorkshire visitors have not visited arnside for many years, so we go through despite the weather of kendal. ted the patterdale was looking forward to some sea air. somewhat slippery under foot, but we enjoyed a busy walk along the coast and looking for...Camin and refreshment that we ended in the posh sardine. high light of our day. we were greeted by the hostes, treated with special coffees and we have selected from some of the best homemade cakes ever. fortunately, we have chosen a quiet period and enjoyed chatting with the owners. a wall was with pictures of filmstars of the and we had fun to guess their identities. will be back soon.

Had a time with my beautiful friend jean in the posh sardine. honored by really friendly and attentive hosts who showed us on our table. had booked their afternoons and was delighted with a selection of delicious freshly made hearty sandwiches/pasteries next to an impressive selection of freshly baked cakes/sauce washed with plenty of tassen tee. loved the tasteful mini-murry with lemon curd and a heavenly! a fresh home made repast at a beautiful sunny day (but would be cozy if an inclusion relaxed atmosphere, comfortably furnished, thoughtfully welcoming, view of the bay/Arnside viaduct. cracking window seats try to hit a pose! remarkable dog friendly (biscuits on the finished in a glass at the front counter). can prove difficult for wheelchair and disabled access, so they recommend to ring beforehand to clarify all access problems. alone toilet. had a few parking spaces on the front side, but many free parking spaces on the side of the road are available. recommend book how very popular. a delisher afternoon on the sea. came home with a delicious doggy bag, so that the pleasure just keeps going. what a nice tasty bite! can recommend and will definitely return to try the rest of your menu!

We had arrived by train from Grange and started walking along the harbour when we spotted a coffee sign “ Outrageously good coffee .... served here” True to the letter the coffee was FAB. I was so impressed I have since bought coffee ..coffee care. We were lucky to find a table in the bay window overlooking the estuary. Delightful family run cafe with delicious cakes on offer. They also serve light snacks and lunches. I also bought a few gifts that they had for sale which will make ideal presents souvenir. Lovely relaxing atmosphere worth a visit; will return next time we are in the area.
