Lewis's Coffee Shop - South Lakeland

We stumbled upon this restaurant and are so glad we did. The staff was amazing, the food and service were excellent, and the prices were reasonable. We sat indoors near a window with a beautiful view of the lake. If you haven't been here before, you should definitely check it out. I ordered the soup and roll, while the other person had a grilled cheese with a small salad.

Outstanding cafe with a variety of food, drinks, cakes, and ice cream. The owners and staff are wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The view of the lake is fantastic. We'll definitely be returning with our dog, Mabel, next time as the cafe is dog-friendly. We had a delicious cappuccino and lemon cake. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Rachael and Andy.

The food was excellent, good value and lovely staff, would certainly recommend for a quick bite to eat with great views.

Came to Bowness for couple nights, lovely little find here on the lake. First day we went had tea cakes and coffee. Delicious and served by a lovely young girl called Sophia. Couldn’t do enough for us. Coffee nice and hot and tea cakes delicious. The next morning we went in for bacon buns and tea. Lots of well done bacon piping hot and again served by Sophia with a lovely welcome. Everyone is very friendly and we felt really looked after. Beautiful view of the lake and you can sit out and watch the boats come and go. Definitely will return next time we come and visit.
