Hidden gem, first visit to a fantastic arts and crafts house, nice cafe and great views of the lake.
An absolute must for any fan of the Arts and Crafts movement. You can sit in every ingle nook and window seat, and immerse yourself in this masterpiece of Baillie Scott. You will love the great hall, and want to live there yourself! Blackwell is a fine example of a country retreat of the late Victorian early Edwardian period. I recommend you allow 2 hours.
