Baldry's Tea Room - South Lakeland

A place we come every time we come to the south lakes. A popular tea room, it’s bright airy and serves lovely food with hearty portions. Soup and sandwich is great here.

Tasty wholesome home baking. Friendly atmosphere. Soup of the day was delicious and came with an enormous cheese scone. Great warming food on a wet day in Grasmere.

Warm, friendly atmosphere with cheerful staff. Food was lovely, including the Gluten Free option. Cup of tea was beautifully served, refreshing and there was plenty of it. Would return again happily.

We enjoyed lunch here and also afternoon coffee and cake the following day! Delicious food and drinks and great service. The atmosphere, decoration and cleanliness were spot on. Will be back on our next trip for definite.

Visited this Cafe and found the coffee to be very weak and expensive. I note other reviewers have said the same. Gluten Free cake was very basic and very expensive too. Great they take dogs though with biscuits for dogs.
