The Cocktail Corner - South Lake Tahoe

Eating and service at the bar (because they are there) were phenomenal. but on a Saturday night only two barkeepers and the only one to close the tab was to wait in the line for the bar or go through the crowd and go to one of the other restaurants. After almost thirty minutes in the line I finally noticed a manager running around and was able to flag him down to help close my register card. a mobile checkout/order system that is tied to its table or has the host in the ability to close our tabs would have made this a better experience. that means we loved it and would go back. but not on a Saturday night when it is so busy.

The cocktail list is pretty nice. the hummerburger was overdoned and the meat was dry. fries were muddy and cold. the service was immaculate. band was amazing!

There were two large, extremely loud tables that ruined our eating experience. the manager has done nothing to get these tables under control. we live three miles away and often bring the city guests to local events for culinary experiences. we will not be back.

A very nice atmosphere. eating was amazing. my family and I had a pleasant experience and we will visit every time we go to tahoe in any case.

We were so excited to have an experience here, and when we went up, we quickly realized that it was expected that we entered a loud bar like the environment through a side door and then entered a second door to actually get into the restaurant. but we wanted to make the best of the experience, so we decided to try it anyway! Immediately we were told that most articles in the online menu were not available yet breakfast, brunch and lunchtime available (this was not clearly displayed on the website that shows the menu) so that was also disappointing. we did not decide that we would have tried this! so we ordered a bottle of champagne, oysters and some caviar (as these were some of the elements we were allowed to order in the online menu). and unfortunately we were disappointed again! our bottle champagner was warm, literally not cold and instead of offering a chilled bottle, they asked us to put it in a bottle and wait until it recovers. nothing else was offered to us besides a “gap, apologise about it and thanks to the celebration of their special day!” regardless of whether we have allowed this to bring us down, we have decided to stay, drink and eat what we have ordered and decided that we would make the best of a not so good experience. in any case will not return.
