Mcp's Taphouse Grill - South Lake Tahoe

Great place to visit! I came here with friends for my birthday weekend, and the staff were all friendly and enjoyable to interact with. The shepherd's pie and onion rings were hot and fresh. The beer was ice cold. My brother ordered the Reuben and loved it. I’ll definitely return next time!

We love this place. We went from El Jefe 's Cantina at Harvey's and found this wonderful and lively place right across. My shepherd Pie was fantastic! We also had the nachos (which had a little too much heat A.K.A......jalapenos) for us, but they were still good (a little more beans and cheese next time please). My wife had the BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad that was really good. We went back two nights in a row for food and drinks. So much better than a casino.

This restaurant has a lovely ambiance and plenty of outdoor seating. There’s live music, a diverse menu, and the service is friendly. The place is clean, and the views are pleasant. We enjoyed their take on the Margarita, as well as the excellent fish and chips and a great selection of beers. The spicy cauliflower appetizer and the elotes with tortilla chips were also hits. Our only issue was that the salmon we tried was overcooked. On our second visit, we decided to skip the salmon entirely.

Not bad. We went too late and made the decision to eat inside. It was very dark and loud with live music. I wish we were sitting outside, but it was a little cool. But overall it wasn't a bad place. Limited selection, but good service.

Amazing experience with a larger group of 10. Cold beer hot burger and pretzel with some delicious cheese sauce hit the spot, even with the weather not cooperating for the day. Our server was great attentive quick and pleasant. We were sat down instantly which is always nice. We will be back.
