Lake Tahoe Aleworx - South Lake Tahoe

The staff at this place are miserable and condescending. I told them their beer was coming out foamy because the beer is too warm and was met with sarcasm and dismissed as not being able to pour a beer (p.s. I work in the craft beer industry). On top of that, there’s very little actual craft beer as most taps are clearly controlled by big, corporate beer. The pizza is over priced and average at best. There’s plenary of better places to eat in SL Tahoe, so I would highly recommend NOT wasting your money here.

Never been to the Tahoe before and we discovered Aleworx, excellent selection of Ale's, Stout's, Porter's and IPAs on self-tap to sample and enjoy. The pizzas had excellent flavor and the crust was fantastic. It had just a little more sag then we like but beyond that it was great. Loved watching the pizzaiola stretch the dough and make the pizzas. Would definitely come back again!

We came in for lunch after hiking all morning. Their beers, some wines and some ciders were self-serve, sold by the ounce. My husband got an IPA and I ordered a glass of wine. He ordered a pizza and I got a goat cheese salad. Being gluten and dairy free, I didn't have much hope that I could order pizza, and the menu didn't mention that those were an option. I found out after receiving my salad that they do have gluten and dairy free options, so while I really loved the salad, I would have ordered pizza if I had known. Either way though, we had a nice time and really good food. They also have live music often, although we were told that lately the musicians have been cancelling because of the wet weather in order to protect their equipment.

I go here often. Love their Cobb salad got bad lettuce greens once but otherwise great. Food is pretty good overall. Service is great overall. The atmosphere depends on what you like, I prefer to go when their isn’t live music because when there is live music ITS SO LOUD. So if that’s what you’re in to it’s great, just not for me.

What a beer selection!! Love that they use the card service.... I could take smaller glasses to taste more and never had warm beer! The pizza...YUM!! Wood fired goodness. Located in the corner of the old outlet center love what they've done with this center! AleWorX is linked to a full bar on one side of the patio, great outdoor seating (occasional live music) and an outdoor grille area with picnic tables in the trees cornhole.
