The Lean Pantry Co. - South Kesteven

My family of three came to this restaurant for lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried the mango chutney wrap and the chicken and avocado wrap, both of which were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had heard that this was a great spot for coffee and cakes, so I decided to stop by for brunch. The menu was small but decent, although I found the portion sizes to be a bit lacking for the price. The eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection, but I still left feeling hungry. The coffee was very frothy, but unfortunately, it was cold. I had hoped to try some cake, but the rude young waitress made me reconsider. After all, it's supposed to be a coffee shop.

I was shopping and wanted a quick coffee. I didn't want to go to one of the big chains so I decided to try this place. The frontage was great and the interior looked inviting. However, when it came time to order, I was disappointed to find out that they didn't have skimmed milk. This was a problem for one of our group members who can only have skimmed milk. It was surprising to me as I have never been to a coffee shop that didn't have it. Sadly, we had to go elsewhere as a result, even though the place seemed to be a nice independent cafe. If I were alone, it wouldn't have been an issue, but unfortunately, it didn't work for our group in this instance.

Went to Stamford today,fairly local but love trying different places. I have a dairy allergy so was pleased to see lots of vegan products on offer. I find it easier to eat vegan when im out and love trying new vegan dishes. The sign was inviting and said they did Vegan and gluten free and a vegan scone which sounded great. When I got in staff were friendly and kind and directed me to the vegan selection which was great! No scones unfortunately but didn’t matter as loads of variety of cakes and even a vegan sausage roll which was lovely! Food was great and served a really great purpose for me and was really pleased overall! Thank you x

We have passed this cafe many times and it always appears busy which we think is a good sign. The staff were swift in taking our order, amongst us we ordered eggs benedict, and avocado on toast with poached eggs. The food arrived swiftly but all dishes had an overpowering acid taste of vinegar possibly the poached eggs are cooked with vinegar in the water? All dishes we ordered had poached eggs! The eggs benedict was a nice size portion albeit I couldn’t eat it as soo acidic, but the avocado on toast portions were merely one slice of toast with mashed avocado and one poached egg, two slices of toast would be a more average portion. Probably won’t visit again as there are many better cafes in the town, but it is good to try new places and the staff made up for the vinegary tasting food.
