Taqueria La Favorita - South Houston

My favorite experience in South Houston! Without a doubt, this place offers the most authentic Mexican cuisine in Texas. You can't go wrong with the enchilada dinner during the week, and the special Tacos Al Vapor on the weekends are a must-try!

Since inflation, both the quality and quantity of the food have decreased, while the prices have increased. The lady at the register was rude when I tried to pay my bill, and the service was quite slow. It's really disappointing because this used to be my favorite restaurant.

The food is absolutely amazing! However, the staff could benefit from being more cheerful and welcoming. I felt a bit uncomfortable during my seating and ordering experience. The service has room for improvement.

The service was very bad, it took half a hour for the food to arrive just for my order to not come (he took our order by memory) he apologized and claimed to put my order in the second time. I waited another half hour just for nothing to show up..all Iordered was tacos con huevos?

Waitstaff was great and attentive. Ordered a burrito and shrimp cocktail. The meat (fajita) was tender,the cheese was good and melty. I wish the burrito had avocado ???? and or crema inside. The shrimp cocktail was really big and packed with shrimp. Itwas a Lil too spicy for me but I just added some ketchup. The food was reasonably priced and good variety.
