The Chestnuts - South Holland

I had lunch at this café several times over the holidays. It's a nice little place with a wide variety of food options and delicious homemade cakes. Unfortunately, we were unable to finish our meals because the portions were so generous. In addition, there is a small garden center and shop located in front of the café.

We don't visit Kazakhstan often, but whenever we do, it's always a great place to go for breakfast. The staff is lovely, the bacon was particularly delicious, and my perfectly cooked egg was exactly how I wanted it. As usual, we enjoyed our meal and it was definitely worth it.

The restaurant had a gorgeous ambiance and excellent service, making us feel very welcome. The farm offered a nice variety of jams and pate. The restaurant had a great selection of light lunch options and clean tables. Our sandwiches were delicious with fresh and generous fillings. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. It is a highly recommended spot amongst the locals. Thank you.

Excellent meal. roast beef cooked for perfection. very good. personal excellent and very polite. the restaurant is very clean.

We stopped of for a quick break en route and we're surprised to be asked to wait to be seated at an almost empty venue. The formalities here are outdated and not appropriate for a garden center cafe. We were shown to a table by...a rather unhappy looking waitress who seemed so disinterested in having interaction with her customers. Our orders were taken by pen and paper pads and met with sarcastic and frankly disrespectful comments following my elderly father's questions about the history of the venue and the menu. Our orders arrived and I have to say that I have never had a worse cup of what was called"coffee . clearly the cheapest instant version available and undrinkable. Unfortunately, the sausage bap I had was no better..dried out overcooked and poor quality. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
