I have frequented this cafe several times over the years. However, when I went there the other day, I had a difficult time finding it due to the road sign being missing and large rocks blocking the parking entrance. It seems like this situation is permanent as of March, which is quite disappointing.
Visit the chill out when they travel to and from vacation in norfolk. it was never disappointed. always eat the same good quality. if you want to change from the menu, no problem. excellent value and friendly staff.
We decided to visit this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon after reading positive reviews on Tripadvisor. The building appears to have been a former Little Chef or McDonald's, with a simple and slightly retro interior. However, the food is fantastic, with a variety of meat options such as lamb, pork, and chicken, served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and baked vegetables. The meat is excellent, with a delicious bark on the outside. The portions are generous and come with a tasty gravy. For dessert, there are several delicious options to choose from. We have visited a few times and have always had a great experience. The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and although they do not have an alcohol license, they close around 9 pm on Sundays.
My first visit to this lovely cafe was definitely not my last. I have been going for a few times now and find it fantastic. The food is first class as is any drink that is ordered. Always have been greeted with courtesy friendliness and...efficiency. I would certainly recommend this lovely little gem to anybody. In fact it has become my main eating place as I visit Wisbech quite often. But be warned! The portions are very filling.
