Allenholm Farm - South Hero

Wow, this grilled cheese was incredible! It's conveniently located right on the bike route!

What a fantastic discovery! The dried apple slices taste like candy, and the maple creamee is just as delightful. Everything is so delicious! The Hive Food Truck on-site offers great food as well. It was easy to grab take-out and bring it back to our campsite at Skyland Campground.

This restaurant was awarded the best creemee during our personal tour of creemee stands in the South Hero and St. Albans area in 2022. It offers an authentic, no-frills experience with fresh dairy and pure maple syrup. We drove 40 minutes and arrived just 20 minutes before closing, but the lady was kind enough to serve us nonetheless. The portions are generous, either large or perfectly standard for the area.

Loved the Apple slushie! The dried apple slices are a nice snack at a very fair price.

We took a short break here on our bike tour. You have to try the Maple Creemee/Cider Slush. It was delicious! Everyone was very nice and the store also had nice souvenirs. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the apple pie because we were there at the wrong time of year.
