Black River Tavern - South Haven

Had family members who participated in the mini-marathon, so that we stroll through the city afterwards, stopped in a few shops and then happened in this place and what a find it was. We sat outside because we had the granddaughter dog with us, and there were 8 of us and also it was a beautiful day. Our server Christopher was great. Perfect sense of humor great recommendation for food and beer and pleasant timely service. Good prices, food and beer were great and we had an unforgettable experience that we will repeat soon.

The food was incredibly delicious, and the menu offers a fantastic variety that goes well beyond typical bar fare. The atmosphere is amazing; it’s deceiving from the outside and has a great vibe, especially during comedy night.

Love the atmosphere, the service and the choice of dishes! You have the best crab cakes! A must to stop when I'm in South oasis!

Since they opened, this restaurant has always had a passion for food. I had the cash sandwich yesterday, and I must say, the prices are reasonable, especially for a seaside town. The service was excellent; however, I should mention that we were the only customers there when we arrived for lunch.

Great food and great atmosphere! Bartender made me an Old Fashioned that was on point!
